A BOOK READING INITIATIVE
To enhance reading skills and nurture a love for books amongst children, the bubbly batch of the English Creative Writing Workshop from Crossroads Coaching Centre visited the New Book Centre, Abu Lane, Meerut. Soon they were lost in the deep dark forests, the mysteries and the boisterous fun at Malory Towers as they browsed through the pages of unlimited books. From Princess Diaries to Enid Blyton and Bram Stoker to Chetan Bhagat, the list was endless. Amidst lot of fun and excitement and help from the bookshop owner children of all ages found books to suit their sense of thrill and adventure. Now in the days ahead, the children are going to be busy mixing pleasure with academics, by preparing Book Reviews, Story Mobiles, Spin-a-yarn, and the Lexicon Quiz.
